– Por que o Botafogo convocou uma entrevista coletiva? Eu já tenho a resposta, para mim está claro. Para dizer que eles estão ‘muitíssimo bem mentalmente’. Eu contei 4 vezes o Artur Jorge fazendo questão de afirmar que o Botafogo está bem mentalmente. Eu não sou psicólogo e não vou fazer psicologia de botequim, mas se tiver psicólogo assistindo ao programa, convido para dizer o que isso quer dizer na psicologia: um paciente que fique reafirmando ‘eu estou muito bem, eu estou muito bem’. Darren Bent has given an indication about why it is that Sebastien Haller has struggled so much for West Ham United in recent times, as reported by Football Insider.

What did he say?

The Frenchman is a key man for West Ham, being the main figurehead of their attack and club-record signing.

Therefore, when he is not on form it is highly detrimental for the team, as has been highlighted in recent times, with the striker having gone seven Premier League games without getting a single goal or assist.

That does also include the game against Chelsea, for which he was dropped to the bench and replaced by Michail Antonio, before coming on for 14 minutes.

Speaking to Football Insider, Bent spoke about the West Ham man’s struggles: “I think a lack of confidence, a lack of creativity – at the start of the season when they were feeding him, they were scoring goals left, right and centre.

“It’s been indifferent performances, people haven’t been creating much for him, he’s been feeding off scraps and he’s not scoring which is no surprise.

“When you’re not creating chances for somebody, as a centre-forward who’s there to score goals, he’s going to become disillusioned, become frustrated, become angry. There’s no point pointing the finger at him saying he can’t score – you’ve got to give him the opportunities.”

Hard to argue

West Ham fans were not impressed by Haller’s performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers, feeling that he looked off the pace, though it is easy to see how the striker could be growing disillusioned.

The first of which will be enforced as right-back Liam Palmer faces a three-game suspension for his cynical red card against West Brom last time out.

The next change should be in central midfield as Kieran Lee makes way for Massimo Luongo, the Australian offers up more of a goalscoring threat which they could have done with on Saturday afternoon as they recorded more shots at goal than the league leaders.

While out wide, Jacob Murphy has failed to take his chances so it makes sense for Adam Reach to be recalled, maybe his recent withdrawal from the starting line up has done enough to fire him up and fully kickstart his season. He will want to add to those three assists.

Aside from that, much of the side should remain the same.

The 4-3-3 system will be needed to best combat Birmingham’s style of football as they could utilise a three-at-the-back formation, meaning Sam Hutchinson’s role at the base of a midfield three will be key to stopping them from getting overrun, he is averaging more tackles per game than any other player in the squad.

وأوضح التقريري أنّ مورينيو، يرى أنّ بيليجريني لن يكون مُناسبًا له مع روما، لذا يرغب في رحيله وضم لاعبين آخرين.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أنّ قرار مورينيو، سيمنح نادي ليفربول الإنجليزي، فرصة لتعاقد مع بيليجريني، حيث أبدى نادي حمر المُيرسيسايد اهتمامه بالتعاقد مع صاحب الـ”24″ عامًا.

بيليجريني هذا الموسم مع روما، يُقدم موسمًا جيدًا، حيث خاض 44 مُباراة بمُختلف المُسابقات، وسجّل تسعة أهداف وصنع مثلهم.

ليفربول سبق له من قبل على مدار المواسم الأربع الماضية، ضم لاعبين من صفوف روما، حيث تعاقد مع محمد صلاح في صيف 2017، والدولي البرازيلي أليسون بيكر في صيف 2018، والثنائي تألقا داخل قلعة “آنفيلد”.

An unpopular figure in North London, the Gunners supporters let their feelings about the Switzerland international be known as they booed him off the field. The 27-year-old, though, was far from impressed with the way he was treated and decided to retaliate by shouting expletives in the direction of the stands.

He has since apologised, but whether or not that will burn any bridges remains to be seen. Either way, the fans will not be able to share their thoughts of him against Wolves, with Unai Emery confirming that the former Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder will not feature.

Unsurprisingly, that has been met with delight by the Emirates faithful. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.

Rather than begging him to sign a contract as they have done many times previously, some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have sent a harsh reminder to defender Toby Alderweireld following his positive tweet after a successful international break with Belgium.

The Red Devils recorded successive wins against San Marino and Kazakhstan in their EURO 2020 qualifiers, coming out on top by an aggregate of 11-0 following 9-0 and 2-0 victories respectively.

The 30-year-old was quick to post the achievements on social media, but he was quickly given a reality check by Spurs supporters replying to the post.

Of course, the centre-back went into representing his country on the back of successive club defeats with Mauricio Pochettino’s men, conceding 10 goals in two matches against Bayern Munich and Brighton and Hove Albion.

While the Belgian was clearly happy with the goals, wins and clean sheets for Belgium over the weekend, fans of the north London were not so impressed.

One individual reminded him that the matches were only against San Marino and Kazakhstan – two minnows in European football terms – while another said “2 games. 10 goals… no clean sheets”, in relation to his latest record with Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have savaged Serge Aurier after his sending off against Southampton.

Spurs won 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday as they bounced back from a disappointing week; they lost to Leicester City last weekend and were then knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two Colchester United.

But they were handicapped by the Ivory Coast international, who was shown a first-half red card after two successive yellows.

With Spurs leading after Tanguy Ndombele’s excellent opener, Aurier first hacked Sofiane Boufal to the ground before pulling back Ryan Bertrand, having found himself on the wrong side of the Saints left-back.

Southampton then equalised as Danny Ings capitalised on a Hugo Lloris error, but Harry Kane scored the winning goal to earn Mauricio Pochettino’s men all three points before half-time.

Nevertheless, fans were disgusted by the display from the former PSG right-back, with several calling him some variation of stupid for his first-half horror show.

This is it Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. A home game against a side languishing in 17th in League One, and in a competition often derided as the Mickey Mouse Cup. If ever there was a perfect opportunity for the Norwegian to fully invest in his promises of a youth revival, then Wednesday night certainly represents it.

The third-round of the Carabao Cup should see Manchester United field a whole host of youngsters, and the game arguably comes at a great time. The Red Devils’ limp and disappointing defeat to West Ham on Saturday caused big questions to be asked. Just what does the future hold for the side? Well, on Wednesday night, Solskjaer has a great chance to give the Old Trafford faithful a more positive glimpse of what the next few years could entail.

As ever with the cup competitions, Sergio Romero is likely to take over goalkeeping duties from David de Gea. In front of him, three out of the back four could become integral parts of United’s long-term future.

Axel Tuanzebe impressed enormously whilst on loan at Aston Villa last season, averaging 3.2 tackles and 3.8 clearances per game, and should get the nod against Rochdale. And, despite the controversy surrounding his conversation with Ed Woodward in the stands on Saturday afternoon, Phil Jones could be given a chance at centre-back.

At right-back, Diogo Dalot should replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whilst the opposite flank could see a rare opportunity for Brandon Williams. Marcos Rojo has twice come close to leaving the Red Devils in recent summers, and it remains baffling the Argentine started against FC Astana in the Europa League last Thursday. Surely Solskjaer would be better off giving a chance to a 19-year-old academy product instead?

In midfield, the club have confirmed Paul Pogba is back from injury, and ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal next Monday, he may be given some minutes to work up his fitness in mid-week.

Further forward, the exciting trio of Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes should all be given the chance to shine once more; they were arguably the highlights of a rather uninspiring 1-0 win over Astana.

And, whilst it may not appease some United fans, Jesse Lingard looks set to play – if he needed a game to get his form back, then there is arguably none better than on Wednesday.

وأكمل: “ما حدث اليوم أمام فيتا كلوب دراما غريبة، ولم أر في حياتي مباراة مثل هذه، ولكن هذه هي كرة القدم ولابد أن نتقبل ذلك”.

وتابع: ” المباراة كانت سريعة في أحداثها، وكنا نسأل أنفسنا كم فرصة أتيحت لنا لنسجل أهداف!”.

وأردف: “ليس لدينا فرص سوى الفوز على فيتا كلوب في الكونغو، لأننا وضعنا أنفسنا في موقف صعب، وأثق في فريقي، وعلينا الانتظار لمعرفة نهاية دور المجموعات”.

وأضاف: “لا أرغب في الحديث عن التحكيم، والجميع شاهد اللعبة التي تم احتسابها ركلة جزاء ضد الأهلي”.
