Mohammad Hafeez’s elbow extension went as far as 31 degrees under testing, according to an ICC report obtained by ESPNcricinfo.A bowler is allowed a maximum elbow extension – the extent to which he bends and straightens his elbow while delivering the ball – of 15 degrees, and the report notes that during the test conducted on November 24, every delivery Hafeez bowled was above the permissible limit.The test was conducted by five biomechanics experts, including three PhD students from the Loughborough University, in the presence of ICC representative Ben Leaver, and the coach advisor Karl Krikken. The report stated: “The bowler appeared to emulate his match-bowling action during the assessment. Between the upper-arm-horizontal and ball release, the bowler extended his elbow by well over 15 degrees during all deliveries.”The report concluded that the average range of elbow extension was 27 degrees, with a relatively small standard deviation of three degrees. His average upper-arm horizontal flex was recorded at 23 degrees, while the maximum elbow flexion was found to be between 26 and 27 degrees.According to the report, Hafeez was only tested for his stock delivery, and bowled regular offspin from both round and over the wicket. He delivered a total of 24 balls, of which three were discarded due to a wrong line and length.Hafeez, 34, had been reported for a suspect action after the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi as the umpires were concerned about the legality of four of his deliveries – 28.4 and 51.4 on day three, and 29.5 and 33.4 on day four. He had earlier run into trouble for his action during the Champions League T20, being reported by the umpires after Lahore Lions’ game against Dolphins in Bangalore.Before the tests, Hafeez had stated that he was confident he would overcome the scrutiny on his action. He, however, also emphasized that he had never viewed himself as much of a bowler, and that he was focussed on his batting in international cricket.

SUBIDA NA TABELA
​Antes de a 11ª rodada do Brasileirão ter início, o São Paulo ocupava a 9ª posição na tabela, com 15 pontos, 11 atrás do líder Palmeiras. Com os resultados de sábado e domingo, caiu para o 12º lugar e um jogo a menos, mas com a noção de que, com uma vitória, subiria sete posições e passaria a estar em uma zona de Libertadores. Foi o que aconteceu e agora ocupa o 5º posto.

LONGO JEJUM VIROU GRANDE INVENCIBILIDADE
Havia algo que sem dúvidas incomodava demais o são-paulino e todos os envolvidos com o clube: o jejum de vitórias. Mesmo com a ideia de que o time melhorou depois da parada, vencer ainda era necessário. Antes do apito inicial contra a Chape, o Tricolor não vencia há oito jogos, sendo que os quatro últimos foram empates. Sendo assim, o jejum de oito jogos sem vitória passaria a ser uma invencibilidade de cinco jogos sem perder. Foi o que aconteceu.

ATAQUE MELHORA NO BRASILEIRÃO
​Na comparação com os outros clubes de Série, o São Paulo tem o pior ataque da temporada, somando jogos oficiais. No Brasileirão a tendência continuou. Antes da 11ª rodada, o clube ocupava a posição de quinto pior ataque do campeonato com nove gols. No entanto,o 4 a 0 sobre a Chape fez o Tricolor saltar para o status de oitavo melhor ataque da competição, com 13 gols.

DEFESA CONFIRMA BOA FASE E SOLIDEZ
Mesmo com os problemas que o time apresentou no primeiro semestre, algo que Cuca parecia ter acertado era a defesa, que já passava a figurar entre as melhores do ano comparando com os clubes de Série A, e entre as melhores do Brasileirão. Tanto é que o São Paulo entrou na 11ª rodada com a terceira defesa menos vazada com apenas seis gols sofridos. Após passar ilesa na última segunda-feira, deixou a do Corinthians para trás e assumiu a segunda posição, atrás somente do setor defensivo do Palmeiras, que levou cinco tentos.

​FORÇA DO ELENCO COMEÇA A APARECER
​São poucos aqueles clubes que podem ter uma gama de bons jogadores como o São Paulo possui nos dias atuais, o problema era isso não ser refletido dentro de campo, sem os resultados, prejudicados também pela sequência de treinadores com trabalhos interrompidos. Com Cuca, isso parece começar a mudar, e teve uma primeira amostra contra a Chape, quando mudou significativamente o time entre um tempo e outro, e o nível aumentou, mesmo com a saída de Pato, uma das principais contratações da temporada. Sem contar a possibilidade de variar as peças sem fazer substituições.

كشفت صحيفة “ذا أثلتيك” البريطانية أن نادي النصر السعودي قد حسم صفقة جديدة لتدعيم صفوف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم في الميركاتو الصيفي الحالي.

وكان النصر يبحث في الفترة الماضية عن تدعيم خط الدفاع بطلب من المدرب، لويس كاسترو، حتى وجد ضالته في لاعب مانشستر سيتي، إيمريك لابورت.

وبحسب التقرير، كانت هناك مفاوضات بين النصر ومانشستر سيتي لضم الفرنسي وقبل النادي الإنجليزي العرض بالفعل.

كذلك أفادت الصحيفة أن لابورت منفتح على فكرة الانتقال إلى الدوري السعودي، لبدء مغامرة جديدة بعد معاناة في المشاركة بالموسم الماضي مع مانشستر سيتي وسيوقع اللاعب لمدة موسمين مع النصر.

ونشر الإيطالي رومانو المتخصص في سوق الانتقالات، خبرًا حصريًا صباح اليوم، يفيد بأن مسؤولين سعوديين تواجدوا في لندن لتقديم عرض رسمي للدولي الفرنسي.
