Avaí e Figueirense se enfrentaram na Ressacada e fizeram um dos grandes jogos do fim de semana. Em clássico eletrizante pelo Campeonato Catarinense, o Figueira teve por três vezes à frente do placar, mas permitiu o empate do Leão nos últimos minutos.Nogueira, João Paulo e Ferrareis fizeram para o Alvinegro, enquantoAlemão, Maurinho e Marquinhos marcaram para os donos da casa.

Vindo de duas vitórias consecutivas, o Avaí começou pressionando e procurando jogo. Porém, aos oito minutos do primeiro tempo, na primeira saída de ataque do Figueira, Judson faz falta em Felipe Amorim dentro da área e o juiz marcou pênalti para o Figueirense. O capitão João Paulo converteu, aos 10 minutos, abrindo o placar do jogo.

Após o gol, o jogo ficou mais truncado, com o Avaí tendo mais dificuldade de penetrar a área adversária. O Figueirense soube explorar bem os contra-ataques, enquanto o Avaí tentava encontrar o gol de empate.

O Leão continuou pressionando, tendo na bola parada de Marquinhos a grande ameaça. Aos 45 minutos, a pressão surtiu efeito. Romulo dividiu com a zaga do Figueira e a bola sobrou para Maurinho, que chutou no canto do goleiro Denis e empatou o jogo.

O jogo continuou acirrado no segundo tempo. Aos cinco minutos, o estreante André Moritz chutou com força por cima do gol alvinegro. O Figueirense respondeu aos 15, João Paulo chutou de canhota e a bola passou a esquerda do gol do Avaí.

O Figueirense continuou mais incisivo criando mais jogadas que o Avaí. Aos 31 minutos, Betão recuou mal e Ferrareis aproveitou o vacilo e ampliou o placar para o Figueirense.

Os últimos 15 minutos de jogo foram eletrizantes. Logo após a falha do zagueiro do Avaí, Marquinhos(sempre forte nas bolas paradas) cobra o escanteio e Alemão sobe de cabeça para empatar o jogo para o Avaí, aos 34 minutos.

O jogo continuou movimentado, com os dois times atacando e procurando o gol da vitória. Aos 39 minutos, João Paulo cobrou falta na area, Ferrareis chutou para o gol, a bola desviou em Kozlinski e Nogueira, livre, marcou o terceiro gol do time alvinegro.

O resultado final parecia que seria positivo para o Figueira, mas aos 44 minutos do segundo tempo, Getúlio recebeu o passe, botou na frente e foi derruado pelo goleiro Dênis. Pênalti marcado. A responsabilidade caiu nos pés de Marquinhos, um dos melhores em campo e ídolo da torcida, que cobrou no canto e deu números finais ao emocionante clássico da capital.

O Figueirense continua invicto no campeonato, com 3 vitórias e 1 empate e se mantem na vice-liderança do campeonato, com 10 pontos. O Avaí, por sua vez, está em terceiro lugar, com 7 pontos.

Os dois times voltam a campo nesta quarta-feira. O Avaí, pelo Catarinense, as 20h30, contra o Concórdia; o Figueirense, pela Copa do Brasil, fora de casa, contra o Treze de Campina Grande, às 21h30.

Daily Mail reporters Jack Gaughan and Craig Hope, two reliable sources, first claimed that the Sky Blues have a deal in place to sign Dortmund’s prolific striker.

Other claims have come to light since then with City apparently being in pole position for Haaland’s services this summer.

However, despite all the noise, Jones has now shared what he’s heard as Pep Guardiola eyes another forward alongside the 21-year-old.

The Latest: Jones make Martinez transfer claim…

According to the reporter, Man City, and by extension their sporting director/transfer chief Txiki Begiristain, have also weighed up a move for Martinez.

Jones also refuses to rule out further reports of a potential move to Eastlands for the Argentine.

“I’ve even heard that Manchester City have looked at him over the past year and have considered whether he might be a good fit for them,” he explained (via GMS).

“So, I think once again this summer, we will see rumours around Lautaro Martinez.”

The Verdict: Great alternative?

If City can’t win the race for Haaland, should Guardiola’s side consider Inter’s star attacker as an alternative?

Scoring 14 goals over 28 appearances this season in Serie A, Martinez could move on for around £67.3m, over £30m less than what Inter were demanding around two years ago.

Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio, speaking to the press, once openly stated that Martinez would not leave for less than his once-€111m (£100m) release clause (The Daily Mail).

As his valuation drops substantially, City could sign a gifted attacker who Romelu Lukaku even called a ‘beast’, even if it’s clear Haaland is the superior striker.

His 16 goals and six assists over just 16 Bundesliga starts comes as a quite frankly ridiculous record, but if Begiristain and co fail in their bid, they should indeed consider a move for Martinez.

According to Football Insider, Palace are interested in signing Aribo at the end of the season, with a recruitment source claiming they are ‘keeping tabs’ on his situation. Eagles club officials have even gone to scout him at Ibrox recently, further highlighting the level of keenness on show.

The 25-year-old’s current deal expires in the summer of 2023, at which point Rangers could lose him on a free transfer if he hasn’t extended his stay.

The Verdict: Potential big loss

Aribo has grown into an influential figure at Ibrox, as shown by his aforementioned statistics, so losing him would be a big blow for Van Bronckhorst.

The idea of joining the Patrick Vieira revolution at Palace could be too good to turn down for the midfielder, with the Frenchman already getting strong performances out of vibrant players such as Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.

The hope is that Aribo stays at Rangers, of course – Ezri Konsa has hailed him as ‘unique’ – but it is easy to envisage a scenario where his head is turned by a move to Selhurst Park.

The fitness of Sarwan, a former captain, and Narsingh Deonarine was “deemed unsatisfactory” by the selectors while Taylor, the fast bowler, was not helped by his limited availability following a back injury.Sarwan, who was most recently affected by a hamstring problem, has not played a Test since 2009 and he has appeared in four ODIs and seven Twenty20s this year.
