ستعاني أندية الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز من صداع جديد في مطلع عام 2024 بسبب بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا، بعد قرار تأجيلها من قِبل الكاف اليوم الأحد.

ستقام كأس الأمم الإفريقية المقبلة مرة أخرى في منتصف موسم الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، مما يعني أن العديد من الأندية قد تكون بدون لاعبين رئيسيين لمدة تصل إلى شهر، حسبما ذكرت شبكة “ذا أثلتيك” الإنجليزية.

كان من المقرر في الأساس إقامة النسخة السابعة عشر من البطولة القارية، كأس الأمم الإفريقية 2023، الصيف المقبل في ساحل العاج.

لكن الفيضانات الغزيرة المتوقعة في الدولة الواقعة في غرب إفريقيا في ذلك الوقت من العام دفعت المنظمين إلى نقل البطولة من يونيو ويوليو 2023 إلى يناير وفبراير 2024.

تم اتخاذ القرار يوم الأحد من قبل اللجنة التنفيذية للاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم عقب اجتماع في الرباط بالمغرب، أكده رئيس الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم الدكتور باتريس موتسيبي في مؤتمر صحفي.

أقيمت نسخة 2021 في الفترة من 9 يناير إلى 6 فبراير 2022، حيث خسر ليفربول لاعبين مهمين طوال مدة البطولة حيث فازت السنغال بقيادة ساديو ماني على مصر محمد صلاح في المباراة النهائية.

كان يورجن كلوب الغاضب قد أطلق على كأس الأمم الإفريقية لقب “بطولة صغيرة” في ذلك الوقت، وهو تعليق أصر لاحقًا على أنه لم يكن يقصد به الازدراء، بل أدلى به بسبب إحباطه، نتيجة غياب أبرز نجومه على رأسهم محمد صلاح وساديو ماني.

من جهة أخرى، سيتم تعطيل موسم الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز 2022-23 من أجل كأس العالم في قطر.

ستقام الجولة الأخيرة من المباريات قبل البطولة في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع من 12 إلى 13 نوفمبر، وستستأنف الدوري في جولة البوكسينج داي- بعد 8 أيام من نهائي كأس العالم – مع تحديد اليوم الأخير من الموسم في 28 مايو 2023.

Leeds United winger Raphinha could receive another call-up to the Brazil national squad in two weeks after rejecting the chance to represent his country in the latest international break.

The Lowdown: Refused

Raphinha, 24, received his first call-up to Tite’s squad in August for the September triple header against Chile, Argentina and Peru.

The winger was originally thought to have been refused the right to travel this month due to quarantine protocols, with Andrea Radrizzani since revealing the player himself rejected the opportunity in order to focus on his club.

The Latest: Further problems

According to reports in Brazil [Via MOT Leeds News], Tite is set to name his squad for the World Cup qualifying double-header with Venezuela and Uruguay on Friday 17th September.

South American outlet Ge Globo states that the Brazilian coach expects backing from FIFA this time around to avoid another circumstance where Premier League clubs can stop players participating.

FIFA are discussing a new five-day quarantine rule to aid players in returning to their club duties, and Raphinha could get the call once again.

The Verdict: Headache for Leeds

With the news that FIFA want a shorter quarantine not yet confirmed, Leeds and Raphinha himself could be left with another headache if he is indeed called up once more in nine days time.

Another call-up for Raphinha in two weeks will disrupt the scene again if the situation hasn’t been sorted by then, and the winger could miss the trip to Southampton in the middle of October if he elects to give it a go with his national side.

Raphinha’s importance to Marcelo Bielsa’s side has drastically improved as he has settled in at Yorkshire. His 9.30 expected assists last term have seen him become one of the first names on the team sheet due to his trickery and creativity.

It can’t be the final day of a Sydney Test without a catching controversy and Jacques Kallis and Andrew McDonald were at the centre of an incident after 45 minutes. Kallis got a leading edge and McDonald dived to his right in his follow through, apparently getting one finger under the ball as he slid along the pitch. Billy Bowden gave Kallis out almost immediately, McDonald lay on the ground unsure and the batsman stood questioning the ruling. From the batsman’s view the ball touched McDonald’s finger before it slid briefly on to the ground; from the back and side angles the doubt was removed. Rod Tucker, the Australian third umpire, agreed with Bowden and Kallis was gone for 4.Stranded below the summit
Kallis’ confused end left him 12 short of 10,000 runs. He arrived in Australia needing 199 to reach the milestone, but will have to wait for the first Test of the return series, which begins in Johannesburg on February 28, for his next chance to get there. South Africa’s final-day push for a draw was not helped by Asoka de Silva’s decision to give Mark Boucher lbw to a ball heading comfortably down the legside. Os espaços no gramado do Mineirão começaram a se abrir e, aos 25, Ariel Cabral deu um passe primoroso para Diogo Barbosa. O camisa 6 foi à linha de fundo e cruzou com perigo, mas Werley afastou. O problema é que as lacunas foram abertas também para o Coritiba, que aproveitou melhor e encontrou duas bolas na trave.

Cruzeiro marca em momento adverso

Mas foi neste momento de domínio alviverde que o Cruzeiro chegou ao gol, em contra-ataque. Diogo Barbosa, arrancou, tocou para Alisson, recebeu de volta, continuou no arranque e cruzou para Thiago Neves acertar um belo chute da entrada da área.

Apesar do tento, o Coritiba continuou melhor e Galdezani perdeu boa chance. O primeiro tempo se encerrou com um chute cruzado de Sóbis para fora. Ele arrancou da defesa e quase marcou.

Segundo tempo avassalador e incontestável

Apesar do primeiro tempo aos trancos e barrancos, o Cruzeiro voltou com uma nova postura para o segundo tempo e teve uma atuação impecável, com muita intensidade e chances perdidas até o gol de Rafael Sóbis, aos 19. Léo deu um chutão, a zaga paranaense afastou mal e sobrou para o camisa 7 driblar Wilson e marcar.

Antes do segundo tento, vale destacar as boas chegadas de Robinho, Diogo Barbosa e Ezequiel. Depois do gol, o Coritiba sentiu e desanimou, enquanto o Cruzeiro permaneceu ligado, mas um pouco menos intenso.

If an extraterrestrial was sent down from space and asked the nearest person to define Celtic, the response would have been to watch the Hoops’ game on Thursday evening.

Going forward Ange Postecoglou’s men were first class, but old habits die hard as their defence consistently let them down.

This is going to be a tough Europa League group for the Bhoys and nothing summed that up more than their 4-3 defeat to Real Betis in Sevilla this week.

Celtic took a shock 2-0 lead, sending supporters who were unable to travel to the game into bedlam.

However, the Spanish opposition fought back and eventually took a 4-2 lead before Anthony Ralston’s late header gave the Glasgow side hope.

No one can ever fault Ralston’s commitment or work ethic but, apart from his goal, he was one of the most frustrating figures against Betis.

Coupled with Ismaila Soro, the duo endured a nightmare in soaring temperatures at the Estadio Benito Villamarín. The Ivorian looked like a red card waiting to happen and was taken off shortly after the break in favour of James McCarthy.

His discipline was again questionable but Ralston was arguably worse.

The Scot has been a revelation during the opening months of the campaign and now has three goals for the season in what has been a breakthrough year.

Sadly, one of Postecoglou’s most consistent players since arriving severely let him down in Spain.

The right-back was a threat going forward but was a liability at the back, much like the rest of Celtic’s defence.

They shipped 19 goals in the Europa League last term, the highest of any side in the tournament, and it’s evident that they haven’t learned their lessons from 12 months ago.

Ralston was particularly poor and was caught out on numerous occasions, firstly for the opening Betis goal.

He failed to clear the ball on the right-hand side of the penalty area and then Juan Miranda strolled through the centre-back pairing before sliding the ball home.

The Scot was also caught out of position for the hosts’ third goal. Sergio Canales waltzed past the defender as though he wasn’t there and, instead of trying to make up for his mistake, he was caught ball watching alongside Soro.

The Spaniard was able to supply a teasing ball for the robust Borja Iglesias to beat Joe Hart as a consequence.

Ralston’s woeful evening was capped off by a cross in the second half soaring high, wide and out of play at the near post. That was just one of 17 concessions of the football as he found the target with only 50% of his deliveries.

He did pop up with a late goal but by then, the damage had already been done. With 15 minutes left, substitute Alex Moreno flew past him with relative ease before Cameron Carter-Vickers performed a rescue act to sweep up the play.

The defender has been an excellent servant during the 2021/22 season so far but this was a performance which demonstrated why Juranovic will eventually become the incumbent of the right-back role.

يقترب نادي النصر السعودي من التفوق على الهلال وحسم صفقة من العيار الثقيل بالتعاقد مع نجم الأهلي الشاب عبد الرحمن غريب.

وكان النصر حقق المركز الثالث في دوري كأس الأمير محمد بن سلمان في الموسم الماضي ومن ثم أعلن رحيل المدرب الأرجنتيني ميجيل روسو وتعويضه بالتعاقد مع المدرب الفرنسي رودي جارسيا لمدة موسمين.

وبحسب برنامج “الحصاد الرياضي” عبر قناة “24 الرياضية” فإن النصر عرض على الأهلي استعارة خدمات لاعبه عبد الرحمن غريب، وذلك بعد موافقة رودي جارسيا على فكرة التعاقد مع اللاعب.

ويقترب النصر من ضم عبدالرحمن غريب لمدة موسم واحد على سبيل الاعارة حتى يونيو 2023 في صفقة سوف تشهد إعارة لاعبين من صفوف النصر إلى الأهلي من بينهما اللاعب أيمن يحيى.

ويستغل النصر رغبة عبد الرحمن غريب في الرحيل عن أهلي جدة في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية لاسيما عقب هبوط الراقي لدوري الدرجة الأولى “دوري يلو”.

يذكر أن عبدالرحمن غريب لعب 117 مباراة مع الأهلي في مختلف المسابقات وسجل 17 هدفاً وقدم 14 تمريرة حاسمة ومدد تعاقده مؤخرا مع الفريق الأهلاوي حتى يونيو 2025.

وينتظر أن يصبح غريب ثالث صفقات النصر في صيف 2022 بعد وصول الايفواري الدولي جيسلان كونان لمركز الظهير الأيسر في صفقة انتقال مجانية عقب نهاية عقده مع ريمس الفرنسي وكذلك ضم الحارس الكولومبي ديفيد أوسبينا في صفقة انتقال حر عقب نهاية عقده مع نابولي الإيطالي.
