Barca have been heavily linked with a move for the South American gem in the past, with compatriot Lionel Messi previously labeling Martinez “sensational.”

Therefore, Liverpool must swoop for the prolific forward before the Catalan giants financially recover enough to be able to afford the Inter man.

In just three years in Milan, Martinez has bagged 49 goals and provided 20 assists in 132 appearances, showcasing his top-class ability.

His arrival at Anfield could propel the Reds back to the summit of English football and director of football, Michael Edwards must do everything in his power to secure the diminutive star ahead of Liverpool’s continental rivals as he looks like the ideal player to potentially replace Firmino up front for Klopp’s side.

According to a report by Football Insider, West Ham United are now weighing up whether to reignite their interest in Odsonne Edouard, with many fans on Twitter flocking to the transfer claim. 

Edouard, who bagged 22 goals in all competitions for Celtic last season, has attracted plenty of interest for his proficiency in finding the net.

At one point, Leicester City seemed favourites to secure his signature this summer and were in advanced talks to seal a deal at one point (Fabrizio Romano). However, with Patson Daka now looking likely to join the Foxes, that has seemingly opened the door for West Ham to return for Edouard, as Football Insider claimed that the Hammers are now weighing up a move for the 23-year-old.

Os 18.046 pagantes da partida contra o Santo André, no último sábado, já haviam representado o segundo menor de todos.

Até então, a menor ocupação registrada em Itaquera havia sido no duelo entre Timão e Atlético-MG, pelo Brasileirão do ano passado, quando o estádio recebeu 17.135 pagantes.

A 10 partidas de completar 100 mandos do Corinthians, a Arena virou razão de preocupação para o clube. Além dos naming rights encalhados e a dificuldade nas vendas de camarotes e espaços do estádio, o clube vê a média de público desabar.

23-Mar-2002Justice Ali Nawaz Chowhan of the Lahore High Court (Rawalpindi Bench) has ruled that ad hocism in Islamabad Cricket Association cannot be allowed to continue , therefore it would be proper if elections are organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board within seven weeks.The judge dismissed the petition of Jawadul Hassan in which he had prayed that the PCB’s decision of appointing an ad hoc body to run ICA affairs be declared void, to allow the dismissed office-bearers to continue working and to restrain the PCB/ICA from interfering with the smooth running of the association.”It will be proper if the Pakistan Cricket Board arranges for the elections of the new members representing the territory of Islamabad within a period of seven weeks from today,” the judge said.The judge observed that an ad hoc committee was not expected to remain in that position for an indefinite period. “In this case, as it is seen that the ad hoc committee is functioning since Oct 26, 2000 and the status quo has brought about bickerings which are not at all good for the game of cricket and which itself was taken as a ground for suspension of the membership of the petitioner.”Justice Chowhan ordered that status quo with respect to the present arrangement be allowed to continue. He said that in matters of finance, the ICA ad hoc committee will however have to seek permission from the PCB chairman before withdrawing any money.

He is a truly an enchanting character, much in the way Jurgen Klopp is at Liverpool, and it will be a desperately sad day when he eventually leaves the club.

The hope is that is still a long way away, however, with a new deal potentially being signed imminently.
