تعرض أيمن أشرف لاعب منتخب مصر الأول للإصابة خلال مشاركته في مباراة اليوم أمام توجو ضمن منافسات تصفيات كأس أمم إفريقيا.

وتمكن منتخب مصر من الفوز على حساب توجو بنتيجة 3-1، في المباراة التي جمعت بينهما ضمن منافسات التصفيات القارية.

وقرر حسام البدري مدرب منتخب مصر، استبدال أيمن أشرف وإشراك أحمد أبو الفتوح بدلًا منه في الدقيقة 83 من عمر اللقاء بعد نزول الجهاز الطبي لفحص الظهير الأيسر. إصابة أيمن أشرف أمام توجو 

يذكر، أن أيمن أشرف سينضم لصفوف فريق الكرة بالأهلي عقب العودة من توجو للاستعداد لمواجهتي أبو قير للأسمدة في بطولة كأس مصر والزمالك بنهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

أوضحت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية، أنّ نادي برشلونة لا يستطيع التعاقد مع الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي، نجم هجوم الفريق، لنادي مانشستر سيتي، في نافذة الانتقالات الشتوية المُقبلة.

ميسي منذ منتصف الموسم الماضي كان ينتقد الإدارة ولكن بشكل مبطن، لكن عقب الخروج المُذل من دوري الأبطال طلب الرحيل وارتبط بالانتقال لـ مانشستر سيتي.

وعقب ذلك دخل في خلافات مع جوسيب ماريا بارتوميو رئيس مجلس إدارة النادي السابق، ثم تراجع عن قراره بالرحيل بسبب قيمة الشرط الجزائي في عقده التي تبلغ 700 مليون يورو.

صحيفة “ذا صن” البريطانية، ذكرت أمس الخميس، أنّ مانشستر سيتي سيقدم عرضًا قيمته 50 مليون يورو، من أجل شراء ميسي، ومساعدة النادي الكتالوني في الأزمة الاقتصادية التي يُعاني منها بسبب جائحة كورونا (طالع التفاصيل).

وقالت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية في تقرير لها: “لن تتمكن لجنة الإدارة المكلفة حاليًا ببرشلونة من الموافقة على رحيل ليونيل ميسي في يناير”.

وواصلت: “مع استقالة الرئيس السابق جوزيب ماريا بارتوميو الشهر الماضي، يتمتع المدراء الاحتياطيون بسلطات محدودة، وليس لهم سلطة بشأن الانتقالات الكبيرة”.

وأوضحت: “تنص قواعد نادي برشلونة على أن المجلس المؤقت لا يُمكن أنّ يتولى مهام الإدارة التي كان ينظمها المجلس المنتخب، ودوره يقتصر فقط على الأعمال الضرورية أو الأساسية للحفاظ على الأنشطة العادية للنادي وحماية مصالحه”.

وأتمت الصحيفة تقريرها قائلة: “الإدارة المؤقتة يُمكن أنّ تُجرى بعض الانتقالات المحدودة بتعزيز صفوف الفريق، ووظيفتهم الثانية هي العمل على خفض رواتب اللاعبين بسبب الأزمة المالية الناجمة عن جائحة فيروس كورونا”.

According to The Express & Star, Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill has emerged as a candidate for the permanent managerial job at West Brom.

What’s the word?

West Brom’s promotion charge ended in heartbreak, finishing the season with a penalty shoot-out defeat as they were left facing another campaign in the Championship.

And in a week where their dreams had been crushed, Chris Hughton and Patrick Vieira were among those being considered to take over from Jimmy Shan.

However, those reports haven’t materialised and now O’Neill is being touted as a potential man for the job. That’s per The Express & Star who claim West Brom are set to ask the Irish Football Association for permission to speak to him.

The 49-year-old was keen on the Albion job back in November 2017 according to the report, but the club decided to hire Alan Pardew instead.

Disaster for West Brom

As potential managerial appointments go, this is arguably as dull as it can get for the Baggies. After two months of being in limbo, this report will hardly be welcoming to Albion fans.

The Northern Irishman has done a fantastic job as manager of the national team, taking his native country to Euro 2016. However, he hasn’t been in a club environment since 2011.

Therefore, Luke Dowling and Mark Jenkins would be staring disaster in the face if they made a move for him.

The fact is that O’Neill has never managed in England, previously taking charge of Brechin City and Shamrock Rovers. At the latter he won two league titles but that will hardly whet the appetite of the Hawthorns faithful given the standard of football.

Considering O’Neill’s lack of experience in the English game it would be an incredible risk to bring him in. The Baggies need someone who is either a progressive coach with a vision or has knowledge of the lower leagues in England.

The former player has neither, and as a result, it would be a poor decision to continue to pursue him.

West Brom arguably need to take more risks, but this is not the type they should be considering.

Leeds United fans on Twitter have made it clear that they don’t want their club to make a move for Michael Frey this summer.

A Yorkshire Evening Post article written by Phil Hay claimed that the Yorkshire side are interested in the services of the Swiss forward.

The striker has been plying his trade in Turkey this season where he has been less than prolific. Frey has scored just three Super Lig goals this term, and form like that has raised a massive red flag amongst the fanbase.

Leeds do need reinforcements in the striker department this summer, but it’s hard to believe that the misfiring 24-year-old is the answer to their problems.

Despite being such a young age, a move to Leeds would see the attacker playing football in his fourth different country having already played in Switzerland, France and Turkey since the beginning of his career.

إذا فاز يوفنتوس وتجنب برشلونة الهزيمة أمام دينامو كييف، فإن البيانكونيري سيكون بالفعل مؤهلاً لدور الـ16 هذا المساء.

وأردف نيدفيد: “نريد تقديم أداء جيد هذا المساء وإعادة النقاط الثلاث، من المهم إعطاء إحساس بالاتساق في نتائجنا والاقتراب من التأهل للجولة التالية”.

وأتم نيدفيد: “كلما أسرعنا في القيام بذلك، زادت قدرتنا على موازنة الطاقة من خلال مختلف المسابقات”.

What a bank holiday Monday for Aston Villa! Well, they now need to focus on bringing in the players to keep them in the Premier League and Kalvin Phillips is the man to do just that.

Football Insider have reported the Villans are looking to raid Leeds for their star defensive midfielder, and it’ll surely be hard for the Whites to keep hold of him. Indeed, the bright lights of the Premier league await, and Villa should use this to their advantage.

There’s a good chance Phillips (an academy graduate in West Yorkshire) would lead Leeds to promotion next season and find himself in the top division without a move, so it’s important Dean Smith capitalises on their position now. Undoubtedly, he’d go some way to keeping them in the Premier League.

The midfielder made 42 appearances in the Championship this season and has juggled defensive responsibility with aiding Marcelo Bielsa’s attacking style well. Clearly, it’s difficult to play in a side who push so high up the pitch but he’s excelled.

That’s prepared him for the onslaught teams like Manchester City and Liverpool will surely provide Villa next season. He’ll have to be ready to firefight against their quick attacks and pass through their intense pressing, but he’d cope with this better than anyone from the Championship this season.

He’s rated at £6.3m on Transfermarkt and Leeds won’t want to let him go that cheap, so Villa will need to dig deep to get their man. However, he could be the difference between relegation and staying up, so it’d be well worth the initial investment.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إنجليزية موقف نجم فريق مانشستر سيتي كيفين دي بروين من التوقيع على عقد جديد، مع النادي الإنجليزي.

ومن المقرر أن ينتهي العقد الحالي للاعب البلجيكي مع السكاي بلو، في عام 2022.

وارتبط دي بروين، في وقت سابق، بإمكانية الرحيل عن مانشستر سيتي بحثًا عن تجربة جديدة مع أي نادِ آخر باعتباره أحد أفضل لاعبي خط الوسط في العالم.

ولكن صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية أكدت استعداد دي بروين للتوقيع على عقد جديد في ملعب الاتحاد.

وأوضحت أن هناك محادثات في الوقت الحالي بين مسؤولي مانشستر سيتي ودي بروين، فيما يتعلق بتجديد عقده.

وأشارت إلى أن دي بروين أكد خلال تلك المحادثات سعادته بالتواجد في مانشستر سيتي، وتطلعه إلى وضع القلم على عقد جديد مع الفريق.

وأفادت أن دي بروين أبدى ترحيبه كذلك بالعقد الجديد المطروح عليه، والذي سيكون ساريًا حتى عام 2025.

وسيحصل دي بروين بمقتضى هذا العقد على راتب قدره 350 ألف جنيه إسترليني أسبوعيًا، بدلًا من راتبه الحالي الذي يبلغ 300 ألف جنيه إسترليني.

أعرب هانز فليك، المدير الفني لفريق بايرن ميونخ الألماني، عن رضاه بشأن أداء لاعبيه أمام أتلتيكو مدريد في المباراة التي جمعتهما ليلة الأربعاء.

وتعادل بايرن إيجابيًا بهدف لمثله أمام الأتليتي، في الدقيقة 86 من ركلة جزاء، بعدما كان الفريق الإسباني متقدمًا بهدف، ضمن مواجهات الجولة الخامسة لدور المجموعات بمنافسات دوري أبطال أوروبا.

Liverpool fans have been on social media discussing whether their club need to sign another centre-back in this summer’s transfer window.

Virgil van Dijk has been an absolute colossus at the heart of the defence.

Meanwhile, Joel Matip deserves huge credit for biding his time in the early stages of the 2018-19 campaign before taking full advantage of Joe Gomez’s absence through injury.

Dejan Lovren is easily the least popular centre-back with the fans.

But it is certainly worth remembering that Lovren helped Croatia reached the 2018 World Cup final and is a capable operator at the highest level.

There are a number of Liverpool supporters who feel that central defence is not an area in need of strengthening in this summer’s transfer window.

Isaac Hayden has been identified as a possible West Ham United target after the club missed out on the signing of Andre Gomes, per ClaretandHugh.

Hayden is a solid if unspectacular midfield player and the report claims that he would cost £15m in this transfer window, but would he improve the Hammers’ midfield?

On the chalkboard

The club currently have Mark Noble, Declan Rice, Pedro Obiang and Jack Wilshere as their main options in the centre of the pitch.

Per WhoScored, Hayden averages 2.9 tackles per game in the Premier League, 1.6 interceptions, 1.1 clearances and is dribbled past 0.7 times. He also has 0.9 key passes in each game, along with a pass completion rate of 79.4%.

By comparison, Noble makes 1.5 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 0.4 clearances and is dribbled by 1.2 times each game. His key passes rate is 0.7, while his pass completion rate is 85.3%.

Rice, a far more defensive talent than Noble, averages the same number of tackles as Hayden per game, 1.5 interceptions, 1.6 clearances and is dribbled past 1.5 times each game. His key pass stat is 0.6 while his pass completion rate is 86.4%.

Obiang fares even worse: 1.7 tackles, 0.5 interceptions, 0.6 clearances and being dribbled by once mean that he is worse than Hayden in every conceivable defensive area. His key passes number is a mere 0.3 but his pass success rate is 80%.

Wilshere, who has barely played any football for the Hammers, averages 0.9 tackles and interceptions while he does not even have a clearance stat. He is dribbled by 0.5 times per game, makes 0.6 key passes and has a completion rate of 89.8%.

Hayden, then, may well be the man to improve Manuel Pellegrini’s midfield.

Sort out his radar

Hayden needs to be more accurate with his distribution.

Other than that, he has a higher tackle rate than every other West Ham player including England international Rice and is only bettered in one area: clearances, by the former Chelsea youngster.

This is a player who would come in and instantly improve the Hammers but he simply has to learn how to pass the ball more successfully.

It is all very well winning it back but if he is merely going to give it away again, there isn’t much point.

If he does rock up in east London, he will need some accuracy training; other than that, he appears to be Pellegrini’s ideal midfield player.

He will add steel and assiduity and could even be Mark Noble’s long-term replacement.

At £15m, he’s an absolute snip.
